We stopped by the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.  A bit hazy, but still a sight to behold.

We stopped for a few minutes in Red Canyon Utah on our way to Bryce Canyon from Zion National Park.  Sunny and warm. Great day for a ride.

I took this picture of the bike as I rode through the Navajo Nation today. It was an interesting experience.  Thinking about the history, the beauty, turmoil, poverty, pride. All the various aspects of the land and people. Realizing that I really know nothing about these lands or peoples.

There is a lot of desert type land here, and a lot of austere beauty.

Spent almost 2 hours waiting in line, but we made it into the Bernie Sanders Rally. What a great experience.

Fingers crossed he wins the nomination. Otherwise, why bother voting? Vote for corruption? Bigotry? Not gonna happen. For me it’s Bernie  or nothing.

Great experience for the kids.

Here is the route we’re looking at doing. Give or take a side road or three. This is going to be a kick. I’ve never been to places like Bryce Canyon, Arches National Park, etc.

Starting Memorial Day, my brother in law Thomas, and I will be meeting up on the motorcycles in northern Arizona for a 2500 mile, 9 day, jaunt through Arizona, Southern Utah, Colorado, and maybe parts of New Mexico.

Paul scrounged me some saddle bags and a nice gel seat with backrest. I’m slowing getting the bike ready.

Here it is in the current, full cruiser mode.

I am looking forward to the trip.

Tijeras is known for its hard water. This is the remnants of the shower handle. It broke yesterday. Looks like I will need to go through and replace all the faucets at some point.
