I went over to Hastings tonight to pick up a book or two for the flight over to Scotland. I’m looking at a 19 hour flight over and a little over 20 hours on the way back. What with layovers and the like I’ll have a lot of time on my hands.

Well, I looked at some scifi, and poked around some horror when I decided to go see if the new book by Brian Greene was out in the science section. I was impressed with his book The Elegant Universe and wanted to check out his new book The Fabric of the Cosmos. Sadly I couldn’t find the new book but while poking around I did run across a used copy of “Surely You’re Joking Mr. Feynman!” I haven’t read this in a long time. I figure it will be a great book to while away the time.

The second book I picked up was “The Trouble with Physics.” by Lee Smolin. Looks to be an interesting reed. I know, I know. I’m a nerd.
