Glad to read an update from you, and to hear that Roberta is doing ok. I miss her blogs but know she has better things to do with her time. Good luck with the teenagers, they’ll turn out fine in the long run,it just seems like forever. We’re gearing up for the charity concert at Nitten, it should be a great evening, March 31st. Trust you’re still playing the fiddle when you can. I’m slowly learning to play the mountain dulcimer.

I know you are both busy with stuff and life things but please can you occasionally update us with how things are as we have been following your blog for a long time (since you were in Scotland) and I know that many of your followers wish to know how your all are. Hope you dont mind me mentioning it. I have always been facinated with your blogs, and got an interest in sea glass from your blog Roberta. (I have just ordered a pair of earrings from America with sea glass and silver…)

We are back in the country for another two weeks before leaving again. How is Bobbi doing? And the rest of the family (I understand it must be pretty rough. I admire the way you are able to stay positive with a sense of humor. Thank God for humor. It helps one get through the hard times. Our love and prayers continue to be with you all.

I actually took a swag at it from the Top500 list. I suppose having to use the Top500 list to see where on the rankings some of these computers started is something of a statement in itself.

I didn’t realize the term Habu was unit of measure for computer performance. Not until I looked it up to see where it started on the list and ran across a wikipedia reference. I learned something new!

I do miss working on the big toys. But, on the flip side, working on these smaller clusters gives me a lot more freedom to play. That and I haven’t been hit by a single hurricane since moving away. Go figure. (-:
