That is a very Impressive qualification on computers. I am having a problem with my home computer, 'what do you charge'!! There was something on our tv today saying the very same thing about CV's being only 2 pages long and never never put the dates you got the qualifications and don't put your date of birth either. Then it will not be ageist against you. If I was doing a cv I would take this into account as I am now 58 and am hoping I won't have to send my cv out ever again. I used to be a PA to a Chairman of a company, I have kept up my typing skills but would hate to have to start looking for a job now at my age. Although I do clean for two of my friends as they work full time. How is Roberta getting on?

Actually saw a scrub jay while visiting Monterey, and didn't know what it was - looks *very* different from a blue jay, actually - although I might be more familiar than most, having raised two orphaned blue jays from babyhood. Blue jays are very pretty (and considerably larger than scrub jays, if the scrub jay I saw was representative), but I hope that scrub jays are a bit brighter and nicer - blue jays are rather dim and relatively nasty birds.

Love to you both and to the girls...

Catherine,

Roberta took both blogs down. I think she's in a hunker down mode right now. Not sure if/when she's going to start writing again. I'm not doing much writing lately either, so I guess I'm not one to talk. (-:

The bottom photo looks like our chaffinch in shape just a different colour and the top is typical of our Jays (which are related to the crow family I think) and again ours are a different colour. (UK bird life) I love the colour of the blue jay.

Not being able to see Roberta's blogs any more I do hope she and the rest of your family are keeping well.

I just realized that Roberta closed out the dying housewife blog and now only has the American Mom one. She should have left a post up saying she was going to do that. Oh well. Everything is going along okay. It looks like she's started posting at
http://americanmom-roberta.blogspot.com/
again. So you can catch her there.

Sorry I know this is nothing to do with your post but I have just tried to look at Roberta's blog and it has been removed, It might be a daft comment under the circumstances but I do hope that there is nothing too seriously wrong. I hope that it is just because she no longer wants to post there.

I do wish you and your family a peaceful and happy Christmas
Kindest regards Catherine
